  • Pick-up your order on the previously settled date. 

Products and services orders can be rescheduled up to 2 weeks prior to the delivery date. The request must be shared in writing via email to be considered valid.

If a customer doesn’t arrive to pick up their paid order during the assigned pick-up date and time, they will be granted a second pick-up option at our next available time slot and date. However, they must contact us by email within 24hrs to schedule an alternate order pick-up date and time durin the same week.

No, currently, we do not ship any products by mail in Canada and globally. 

Capital Sweet Eats only provides products and services to residents of Ottawa. All products are sold online and are available for pick-up in set locations in Ottawa, ON, Canada only.

At this time, we do not provide delivery options. All orders can be conveniently picked up from set locations in Ottawa.

All regular-sized order orders can be rescheduled at least two weeks before the assigned pick-up date, while large corporate or private orders can only be rescheduled four weeks before the actual pick-up date.

Cookies:

  • Cookies can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 weeks, kept in the fridge for up to 2 months, and in the freezer for 8 to 12 months. 

Cakes & Cupcakes:

  • There are cakes which can be kept at room temperature for a limited time, but those with highly perishable ingredients should be kept in the fridge. For example, cheesecakes and other cakes containing whip cream, fruit or meringue can only be stored in the fridge for 3 to 7 days.

Some of our recipes incorporate alcohol, while others remain alcohol-free. The use of alcohol varies based on the desired outcome of the recipe. For instance, we often include pure vanilla extract in our recipes, which contains a minimum of 35% alcohol. Rest assured; we create a flavorful balance that suits every palate.

The minimum quantity set for custom-designed cookies and cupcakes is 12 per product, while custom cakes only require a single order of one.

While our sweet box offerings typically come as a set selection of seasonal pastries from our menu, we’re always excited to hear your ideas! If you’re interested in placing a larger order of sweet boxes and you have a specific menu, design, or flavour preferences in mind, simply fill out our intake order form. We understand the importance of accommodating various dietary needs. If you provide us with your dietary restrictions and allergies when placing your order, we’ll make every effort to take reasonable precautions to minimize cross-contamination of ingredients and cookware.
